Mathematical Games

I've had lots of requests to put games on this site.  So far the only game I've written is the Who wants to be a mathionaire? game, but some links to other sites with great maths games are listed below.

Games on this website:

Who wants to be a mathionaire? We may not have Chris Tarrant, but we have got a selection of mathionaire quizzes to challenge you.

Games on other websites:

All the sites listed are checked regularly.
However, the constantly changing nature of the World Wide Web means some sites may alter after I have checked them.
I can't be responsible for the content of external websites!

www.funbrain.com Definitely the most popular link from this site.  Is it the best maths game site there is?  Lots of great games, including the mathbrain arcade and maths baseball.
BBC Maths File

The Maths File Game Show with your mathematical hosts Hypatia and Pythagoras.  Practise your maths skills while playing a variety of games.

Count On

Has lots of great games, my favourites are Who wants to be a mathionaire?  and Cartoon Maths  (check out the Elvis film)
A+ Math has a variety of games including Bingo, lots of games to help you practise addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Reversi / Othello

A game that is really easy to learn, but not very easy to win!  To play, you place counters on a grid to capture your opponents counters.  This game will show you what moves you can make, so it's ideal for beginners.  Caution - this site can take a while to download!
Click here to play the game.  If you don't know how to play, click here to see the rules.
